What kind of information do we collect and how do we use it?

We collect information so that we can provide the best possible experience when you utilize our website and make purchases. Much of what you likely consider personal data is collected directly from you when you:

(1) create an account or purchase any hotel, show, tour/activity reservations (ex: billing information, including name, address, credit card number, billing zip code);

(2) request assistance from our customer support team (ex: phone number), or;

(3) complete contact forms or request newsletters or other information from us (ex: email)

However, we also collect additional information when delivering our Services to you to ensure necessary and optimal performance. These methods of collection may not be as obvious to you, so we wanted to highlight and explain below a bit more about what these might be (as they vary from time to time) and how they work:

By signing up to be a member of our Dot Vegas sites, you will receive even more discounts for our hotels, shows and activities. Signing up for a membership only requires a customer’s name, email address and password. Dot Vegas will only retain the customer’s name and email address in order to identify and maintain their membership. Memberships do not expire or renew, so Dot Vegas will retain the members’ name and email addresses for as long as the member chooses to remain a member. The member can, at any time, choose to cease their membership and withdraw consent for retaining their name and email address. At that time, Dot Vegas will follow its erasure policies and delete personal information within 15 days.

Making purchases on any of our Dot Vegas sites may require the customer to provide their name, phone number, email address and billing information including name for the reservation, billing name (if different than reservation name), address, zip code, and credit/debit card number, expiration date and security code. This information is necessary in order to make the transaction, to maintain the purchase until its completion, and to resolve any complications either before or after the date of the event. Dot Vegas will retain customer personal information pertaining to orders and reservations for no longer than 90 days following the completion of the event. Any complications, complaints, disputes or chargebacks relating to the purchase or order must be filed and our customer service team contacted within the 90 days following the completion of the event. The customer agrees that after these 90 days, their personal information will be deleted from our system and they will not be permitted to file any disputes or chargebacks relating to their purchase.
